How do I find these coloured blocks?
by: Jeremy

Does anyone know how to get these coloured blocks today? I was also taught with them and they would be of huge benefit to my son. Sadly, they're very hard to get hold of. If you're able to help, please mail me at j.oliver@me.com. Thanks!

Math Manipulatives Work!
by: --The Editors

Hi Geoff!

Thanks for sharing your story.

Your story shows how math manipulatives like your colored blocks take an abstract concept like 5+3 and illustrate what we mean: "5 units added with 3 units."

Math manipulatives like fractions tiles, counting cubes, cuisinairre rods, etc should be part of teaching abstract concepts and strengthening the math curriculum both in and out of school.

Best,
--Etan Savir
